![]() ![]() Now, AMD has officially pulled the curtain and shared complete specifications for the Ryzen 5 7500F. RELATED: Starfield Now Available For Free With AMD Ryzen 7000 Series CPUs And Select Radeon RX GPUs AMD Ryzen 5 7600X Offers Good Value For The Money It was found that the CPU delivered comparable performance to the Ryzen 5 7600X. Not too long after the first discovery, the single-core and multicore benchmarks appeared on Geekbench, providing an idea of the level of performance that can be expected from the budget-friendly offering. The idea behind this chip is to offer performance comparable to the more powerful Ryzen 5 7600X but at a significantly cheaper price.Įarlier this month, the Ryzen 5 7500F was leaked by a Puget Systems benchmark database, and it was found to be the first and only Ryzen 7000 series CPU without an integrated RDNA GPU. AMD has shared that, except for China, it will not be selling the 7500F as a standalone GPU. It has been launched globally and will start showing up on retailer websites soon, but there is a catch. The new iGPU-less processor is a budget offering in the sub-$200 range but based on AMD’s Zen 4 architecture. The AMD Ryzen 5 7500F is official and will go on sale in the US soon. In benchmarks, the 7500F showed comparable performance to the Ryzen 5 7600X and even outperformed Intel's Core i5-13400 in gaming performance when overclocked. The Ryzen 5 7500F has a 6-core 12-thread configuration with a base clock of 3.7GHz and a boost clock of up to 5GHz.The AMD Ryzen 5 7500F is a budget-friendly processor based on AMD's Zen 4 architecture, offering performance similar to the Ryzen 5 7600X at a cheaper price.According to rumors, AMD is set an internal goal of achieving 50% better performance per watt with RDNA 3 compared to RDNA 2. ![]() The piecemeal roadmap also suggests that AMD's Ryzen 7000 mobile processor, codenamed 'Phoenix', will be coming to the desktop as well, complete with a newer GPU based on RDNA 3. According to users on ChipHell, AMD will switch to an I/O fabricated at 6nm with this generation so that from now on there would be graphics integrated into every processor. This means that, if the piecemeal roadmap is correct, AMD’s Zen 4-based Ryzen 7000 CPUs, codenamed ‘Raphael’, will likely be the first to feature built-in Navi graphics. It won’t be until the arrival of 5nm Zen 4 that AMD shifts from the AM4 socket to the newer AMD 5 platform, which looks set to bring a number of features including DDR5, LPDDR5, USB 4.0, and PCIe 5.0. AMD still has plans for Zen 3 yet, as rumors suggest that the firm’s next-generation Ryzen 6000 CPUs will be based on the 6nm Zen 3+ architecture. However, the reported move is likely still some way off yet. AMD’s GPUs and CPUs are becoming seriously popular with Linux gamersĪs pointed out by PC Gamer, by implementing an iGPU into each of its processors, there will be almost no reason for IT professionals, nor budget-conscious PC buyers, to side with Intel over AMD.These are the best AMD GPUs you can buy today.Check out our list of the best AMD CPUs in 2021.The US chipmaker currently ships most of its processors with integrated graphics, which means it’s typically the go-to for businesses – and consumers – who don't want to deal with the added expense of kitting out every machine with discrete graphics cards. If this rumor is true, it would be bad news for Intel.
